"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

On the menu tonight

We are all smelling the pork leg cook low and slow and it will not be ready until tomorrow. So we looked what we had on the farm and came up with quiche using our organic pastured beacon, eggs, and our chives and spinach ....

Zinfandel vineyards

The Spanish black turkeys are hanging out in the Vineyards and soon we will be taking the bird netting off to harvest the zinfandel grapes....

On the menu tonight

We are having hearts of romaine over balsamic reduction with crumbled organic pastured red wattle farm beacon with chunks of hierloom tomatoes and pickled farm onions ,dressing made from farm made mayo blue cheese dressing and of course O happy bread fresh French bread....

Guinea babies

These are our future rattle snake killers. We have had at least a dozen Mohaje green rattle snakes on our farm over the past 19 years and I do not know why it took us so long to figure out that these birds hunt and kill snakes. I even had a snake sleeping in my shoe that I put on and then kicked off...
