Oh boy we had some drama this morning. I was out cleaning the barn when I heard the all the birds making noise and as I looked up I saw a coyote chasing the turkey babies they were jumping , darting , and ditching as I was running screaming some flew into the trees. I was able to chase the coyote...

We have been talking to the babies to build thier trust . I do this crazy google and whistle and all of our turkeys answer back and strut thier stuff and I already got these little ones following me . All 5 are growing and doing great....

Thier mother taught them where I feed some organic scratch and we got to see all five remaining babies runny free on our farm....

We got to see all five babies this morning , gave us a nice smile knowing they are doing fine on their own and they all stick together....

You have to look close but this little beeper just buzzed us in the face as we went over to feed Lewis. We do not have to feed or water these guys as they live out in the fields we do put out some organic scratch at the back of the barn that their mother showed them....
