"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Shimi and baby turkeys

With the fall weather here at the farm and the much cooler temperatures Shimi our 20 year old cat has decided to sleep outside on the patio and I just looked out back and saw her in the barn hunting while being harassed by the baby turkeys. The turkeys do not realize Shimi can and will eat them....

Spanish Black Turkeys

Michael and I laughed at the babies it took them row days to figure out the old barn as it has fans and a mist system to cool things off they are so smart we just love our orphans....

Spanish black turkey babies

The little orphan turkeys have moved to the old farm they are so smart as the darn coyotes have been jumping into the farm nearly every day chasing them. We think we have four males and one female and they stick together and are investigating the whole farm....

Gang of five are doing well

It’s always a good morning on the farm when we see the Spanish black orphans doing so well, they are running and playing and eating seeds and bugs ....

Peaceful morning

We saw the little turkeys all five roosting high on the corral panels which is good as they have a little more protection. The coyotes have been known to jump up and catch the turkeys....
