We are trying tomato cages this year to try and contain the wild heirloom tomato jungle. We are trying four different ones and need to purchase a few more. We were surprised at how the plants rebounded from the 31 degree freeze we had one night....

We are having farm fresh salad greens along with our local o happy bread fresh french bread and prosciutto and cheese tortelloni with pesto sauce....

We had a storm blow through the farm, first thing we look for how did everything do in the storm. We are happy to say our heirloom tomato plants all survived.That is why it is so important we harden the plants off to our harsh environment. We only had to re stake one little plant....

We seek out the most unique and rare heirloom seeds possible some work some don’t but we try . We believe our produce will be hard to find in any market even though most like round pretty red tomatoes we like the unique heirlooms hard to find unbeatable flavor and tonight we planted some of them...
