"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Planted more gardens

We planted mosque de Provence pumpkins,some Nimba  zucchini,patty pan,some hierloom golden crispy melon,lemon cucumber,you kao cucombers all this morning plan on planting magnifienza melons, as well as sugar baby water melon. I call these beds my insane beds as being organic it takes one day of...

Planted seedlings

We got about 25 percent of our tomato plants planted. We hope they can handle the weather as it is still windy and will be for the near future it's always worrisome when we first plant as we can get a freeze and then 90 degrees....

Seedlings transition

We put two of our hierloom tomato seedlings out in the green house so they can get hardened off to the night chill. We started with two so in case it's to cold we do not loose all the plants. We laughed at how we worry about our plants....

Building our soil

It's really nice to use our farm made compost and to build our garden beds these beds will be used for our hierloom tomatoes, egg plant and peppers. The other bed is our root crops carrots, beats, and radishes...
