The compost piles are doing very well. We finished burning all our wood piles and a lot of pine needles and added the ash to our compost . Potash from the ashes is really good for the gardens and turns out cut worms do not like ashes. So burning our wood cleaned up the farm , got rid of hiding...

She is getting old at 13 years ,but she still insists on working the farm. She cannot keep up with us but always has our back.she is a little slow and has to sit and watch us work ,but always lets us know she is there if we need her backup .she has chased many coyotes off our farm and has single...

We are so excited to harvest our first winter greens. We planted them a little late in the year so in the cold it took longer to grow. These greens are like micro greens right now but they will make a flavor bomb in some store organic lettuce....
