Last year it was a real battle as Lewis is getting older and he would flip his water over in the heat of the day so this year we got him a 70 gallon tub he dips in and a drip hose we leave on for 5he heat of the day and he seems much happier....

Being a farmer we experience a lot of emergencies and we are prepared for what ever nature faces us. Our farm vet Dr . Gerry Hensler made us do things us city folks were afraid of as we would rather pay him to do and he would not have it , Vanessa had foot surgery and the yuppie city vet is trying...

What a joy to see these little ones playing and trooping all over the farm and they cover a lot of ground quick. We just lost our oldest guinea hen Lizzie to a coyote this am....
