We had a great time harvesting our gardens . We start out writing down what we planted and where then we forget all about it and get total surprised at we we grew, it is a lot of fun to find surprises in the gardens....

As we harvested our bounty this morning it's so nice to be able to not waste anything as we harvested our broccoli and cauliflower we fed our red wattle pigs the greens....

We had plenty of help from our pastured animals as we filled our new herb garden bed with our farm made compost that we age for a year and have continuing compost piles at different stages. Harold our African goose has been a farm mascot for 19 years....

We used baby beets and carrots with French sorrel , mustards, lettuces, mache salads, fresh pastured eggs and red wattle pastured organic pork and spinach made our farm quiche tonight ....
