Dinner tonight

"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Dinner tonight

This is funny as I do not like cooked fish, I love shell fish and sushi though. We recently had the opertunity to eat out in Las Vegas and the San Francisco Bay Area and Michael try’s to order fish as I don’t eat it he ordered halibut three times and told me mine is better. Tonight I made him halibut and he said it was perfect I have only liked halibut cooked when we went to a fine dinning Nove at the palms where I got to help the butcher ,butcher a fresh halibut. We met a fish Chef here at the farm one time and he said fish should never go in the oven and yet I broil it three minutes per side to perfection.

I like to bbq halibut. Sometimes I prep like swordfish – rub with butter, lay on a bed of lemon slices and wrap in foil
