On the menu tonight

As we worked hard all day clearing our pig pastures of weeds we worked up an appetite so we opened a mason jar of our hierloom creamed tomato soup and had some rustic french fresh bread grilled cheese sandwiches. As we enjoyed and thought what an easy meal but when we stop and think we started these tomato plants last year in February as seedlings and then planted in our gardens and then harvested in July to work for days to can them . This meal really took a year to forage please thank our farmers fo thier hard work. Happy new year and we plege to continue our work .
