We had french onion soup using our violet de galmi onions that come from a small community in Adar Valley of southeast Niger that the villagers have saved these seeds for over 100 years . We carmilized and canned this summer we used our farm fresh rich turkey stock that was jelitonized along with some fresh French bread from our local French bakery grilled cheese sandwiches. Rich warm yummy to our tummy’s .
