"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Dinner tonight

We had left overs tonight, as last night we had a beautiful top loin roast with our potato club potatoes and we used the left overs for cottage pie. The funny thing is there is Shepard’s pie which uses lamb and cottage pie is beef. It was a wonderful winter savory pie....

Another wonderful visitor

We had a great horned owl on the farm passing through and man I hear it looked huge like two foot tall on top of our giant pine trees....

Coyotes got our Spanish black turkey

Shoot another turkey that the coyotes got last night, we have a block wall around the whole Farm and it seems we have coyotes every night....

Feels like winter on the farm

This view this morning is from the Vineyards, and all the leaves will be gone soon as we had several days with freezing mornings. The days are still warming up to the 70’ s so it’s still nice....

Smoke at Jack London square

The only thing nice about the smoke in the Bay Area was how vivid it made the sunset and sunrise . We got to witness it and all the smoke this week....
