Well last Sunday we had Shimi out and brushing her and she seemed really down and out well her darn abcess was back , we found it early but it’s heart breaking to see her pain. We were able to soak it and release the pressure. I cried for her and Monday afternoon I thought we need to put her down...

One of the nice things having a farm is there is always use for what we grow. Our pigs and all the farm fowl just love our farm scraps leaving no waste. The heirloom tomatoes have a lot of waste with thier cracks , extra large cores, and some are all twisted up and wrinkled up we loose up to 50...

This is our first real heirloom tomato harvest. Our goal today is to core and chop all of these and put in five pound freezer bags. We are going to chop and freeze by flavor and color groups. We will can these with our next big fresh heirloom tomato harvest....
