Well this was a fantastic dinner a good way to use our farm food. So rich and flavorful it’s a keeper. We also had some of our local french bakery fresh bread....

This recipe calls for parmigiano reggiano cheese rinds along with a carrot for sweetness ? With our hierloom tomatoes not sure we need more sweetness. We will pull the carrots after it’s finished simmering . We also used our farm fresh garlic and basil....

We usually do not plant grape tomatoes as they are to annoying to harvest but these beauty’s are fantastic they are huge with the best flavor I can eat a dozen right of the plant ....
