"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Amending our soil

Our soil on the farm has high Ph and low acid so we mulch our garden beds with pine needles which are naturally acid. The pine needles keep moisture in and helps keep the garden beds warm during the winter as well as amend the beds with acid. We planted about 200 pine trees the first year we moved...

Lewis

Lewis is our first farm boar and we rescued him from a bad former breeder. We will have to look up his papers to see how old he is , but he meets us at the gate every morning and then trots to the the barn about a 1/2 acre while Sam chases him I swear Lewis laughs at him. We gave Lewis a farm pardon...
