"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Feed delivery

Took a break from apple butter to receive our organic feed delivery. We have to give a shout out to Modesto milling for making all the organic feed we need. Being animal welfare approved is a huge resposibility we found it nearly impossible to get the required feed for our different farm animals...

Making apple butter

using our hierloom farm apples we are turning 15 pounds of apples into canned apple butter. As we were growing up apple butter and pork chops are a staple for our family dinners and having our own fruit we can make organic apple butter. Always something new to learn on the farm....

Mosque de Provence patch

our annual mosque de Provence pumpkin patch has gone wild and when you walk by all you here is the hum of hundreds of bees busy working we have so many bees on our farm and they all are so friendly ....

Brix at 22

We checked the Brix on our Zinfandel vineyards they are at 22 we need them to be 25 plus so we will check them again in about a week. It's always exciting to harvest the vineyards....
