"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Farm grapes

Our grapes are ripening and we are getting ready to harvest the vineyards. These are a mixture of Zinfandel, Cabernet,and red table grapes all of them taste so sweet....

Cover crops

Vanessa is helping in the garden and this bed has Crimson clover cover crops on it now. We build our soil and the soil grows our food part of that includes cover cropping it rest the bed and feeds it as we cut down the cover crops the roots compost under ground and the cut down clover mulches above...

Apple peels

This is a first time for us on the farm to make apple butter so in doing the research we found a recipe that said to leave apple peels and cores in as they contain natural pectin that makes the apple butter set up on its own. We fed the farm animals the left over Apple matter after we used a food...
