"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Laying hens

We sneaked some of our tables grapes to the hens before we get ready to cover the vines . Our hens have grown up with all our vines and they can high wire walk on the trellises and jump from the ground up to the fruit so they no well how tasty they are and will do anything to get at them....

Vineyards

It's that time of the year when we have to put bird netting up to protect  the grapes. It's sad we have to hide all the Beauty of the vines but it's also nice to see the labor of many years begin to ripen and in a few weeks we will be harvesting our Zinfandel vineyards ....

Family visits the farm

We had the pleasure of having our Aunt Gypsy and Aunt Jane along with our cousins daughter Amber from Milan Italy visit us and Amber made fritata using our farm eggs, Swiss chard, and pattipan squash, she also made quinoa using our hierloom tomatoes...

Red ranger chicks

We get a lot of pleasure watching these meat chicks as they run and chest bump then take a spa in the mist system and then retreat back inside to the straw bed under the fans. They never just walk it's always running....
