"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Dinner is done

We used baby beets and carrots with French sorrel , mustards, lettuces, mache salads, fresh pastured eggs and red wattle pastured organic pork and spinach made our farm quiche tonight ....

Picked a salad baby beets and carrots then we will make a quiche with farm fresh eggs and our red wattle farm ham along with fresh farm spinach...

Zinfandel vineyards

Our wine vineyards are in full budding stage and they are so beautiful we are greatful Bill Lochen from Pahrump valley winery showed us how to put our California trellis system at shoulder high so when we harvest we can stand up and not have to bend over....

Planted seedlings

We got about 25 percent of our tomato plants planted. We hope they can handle the weather as it is still windy and will be for the near future it's always worrisome when we first plant as we can get a freeze and then 90 degrees....
