its that time of the year when it is within five degrees from freezing we have to cover our crops we use pure cotton sheets we have to cover and use stones to hold it down then when it warms up to 40 degrees we uncover all the crops so they can enjoy the sunshine . It's a lot of work but the flavor...

We let them out first thing in the mornings and they run and jump and play while they eat pastures we keep them locked in the barn along with all our fowl to keep them protected from preditors every night and we wait until day light to feed and let them run free and hope no preditors get them in day...

Farm fresh animal welfare approved pastured eggs they are extra large golden yolks so flavorful which is strange as I never associated eggs as flavorful until we started eating our own farm eggs...

Victoria is on coyote watch early this morning she is our ten year old poodle and has chased and caught three coytes on our farm and she hated chased many more off the farm...
