"Welcome to Our Farm"

Welcome to our desert oasis. Located 60 miles West of Las Vegas, between Las Vegas and Death Valley. Our goal is to strive to become as self sustainable as possible and being good stewards of our land and animals.
The main goal and focus is in raising animals humanely and providing them the best possible environment in which to grow. This environment must include full access to grass pastures.  Our beliefs is what guided us on our path to becoming the only “animal  welfare approved” farm for our fresh pastured organic eggs, chickens, and geese.
All farm activities are performed with organic and or bio-dynamic growing methods and principles.

Still doing prep work

I had to sharpen my knife. I just love going to the grocery store and strain the Brian of the cashier on my produce picks but they always want to know what I am cooking part of a small town and knowing folks. I got the drumstick leg soup prep done and most of the pot pie tomarrow should be easy....

Still cooking

We got 8 quarts of the carcass soup base, and 15 quarts of foot and bone stock. We made the mistake of taking a break and going to ohjah steak house for a late lunch now I am lazy. I think I’ll do the prep work for the turkey leg soup and turkey pot pie and finish them up in the morning....

Planting more gardens

We also planted 70 seedlings carefully charting and labeling them summer crops, as well as planted our king tut peas, and Sicily cauliflower , cabbages, Brussels sprouts....

Savoring our pastured organic heritage turkey

We are making neck bone and foot stock, as well as turkey soup pastured turkey leg soup, and turkey pot pie. We will freeze them for later. The pastured turkey legs are Mohagany brown and tend to be a little tough being that the turkeys run free so using them for a separate soup we can cook them...
